The price for text completion and renovation always includes pickup, production drawing for approval, environmentally friendly and sustainable production in our factory in Malung, and secure reinstallation*.
*At the gravesite, we examine the existing mounting foundation and replace it if necessary to ensure that the stone stands straight and securely.
For the secure reinstallation of grave frames and flower borders, an additional cost applies (from 650 SEK).

Frequently asked questions about text completion on gravestones
1. Quotation and application
We prepare a quotation that must be approved by the buyer and (all)
grave rights holders. We then apply for permission for completion at
the cemetery administration, when they give the go-ahead, the tombstone is collected.
2. Collection
To carry out the work with new text on an existing gravestone, own natural stone or
recycled gravestone from the cemetery, we transport the stone to our stonemasonry.
If the gravestone is very large (weighs over 150 kg, over 0.7 m² at 10 cm thickness)
or is very old, it is not certain that we can undertake the assignment, a balance
is made from case to case. We collect and reassemble at all cemeteries in Sweden.
3. Drawing
When the gravestone reaches our stonemasonry, we start by cleaning it, only necessary
surface or total washing depending on the offer you have chosen. Then a
preliminary drawing of the completion is created.
We recommend a renovation of the old text/decoration to recreate
the same color and contrasts as for the new text.
4. Approval and production
A production drawing is sent out for approval by the buyer and (all)
grave right holders before we start production. In connection with the start of production
the invoice is sent out, 20 days payment time.
5. Reassembly
We expect a delivery time of approx. 6-8 weeks from approval of pick-up
to reassembly. If there is snow/thaw, there may be delays until the ground conditions are
good.
You will receive a confirmation by email with a picture of the gravestone when the stone is mounted.

Necessary washing means a light cleaning of the front of the stone or the surfaces that need to be clean for us to carry out our work. Total washing means thorough cleaning of all surfaces of the stone.
Painted paint and gilding flakes easily when washed prior to the work on the drawing and new text. We therefore recommend that you renovate the existing text in connection with a text completion. It also minimizes the risk of color differences. For more information read here.

An invoice will be sent by email once you have approved the production drawing and we start
the text completion. The invoice has a payment period of 20 days.
